Fabry Disease – Heat and Cold Intolerance

Temperature sensitivity is common in Fabry disease. It presumably results from lipid deposition in small vessel walls, perineural cells, and unmyelinated or myelinated nerve cells resulting in small fiber neuropathy. [1] Hypohydrosis and androsis may also contribute to heat intolerance.
